- Associate Coach -

The journey that you must travel as an athlete and as a coach is a special experience that I love, to observe an athlete’s journey as they progress through their goals is a privilege.

I just love the process of coaching and working with athletes and other coaches to help support people to reach their goals. The journey that you must travel as an athlete and as a coach is a special experience that can’t get enough of, being part of an athlete’s journey as they progress through their goals is a great privilege.

I’ve been involved in cycling since 2006 initially through mountain biking. Right from the start I was hooked, so I was soon racing throughout NSW on and off the dirt. I’ve competed in numerous enduro MTB events such as multiple SCOTT and MONT 24hr races so I understand what’s involved in training and racing these events.

Throughout my senior years at The Scotts College I was heavily involved in rowing and competed in state and national championships. Living in Sydney I started also racing on the road and using the dedication and commitment I’d learned in rowing helped me progress to racing A grade and in the National Road Series. As a level II coach, I’ve coached rowing at the elite schoolboy level. I’ve also coached cycling groups and been involved in racing teams through my involvement with a number of leading Sydney bike shops.

I’m in the process of completing a university degree in Exercise & Sports Science and I love that I get to continually developing not only my knowledge of the human body and physiology, but at FTP the opportunity to translate this into real results for people.
